The agreement between you and Neev for using the Service.
Last updated: 25 July 2026
Neev (नींव) ("Neev", "we", "us", "our") is a service operated by Neev Study, a sole proprietorship, providing an online, bilingual exam-preparation platform for aspirants of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC / UP PCS) examinations, at neevstudy.com. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Neev governing your use of our website, applications and services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Neev is a study aid for UPPSC preparation. It includes: AI-assisted evaluation of descriptive (Mains) answers — typed or uploaded as handwritten photos — scored against a UPPSC-style rubric; a bank of previous-year questions (PYQ) and MCQ practice, mock tests and daily quizzes; syllabus-mapped study chapters; an AI study mentor for doubt-solving; AI-summarised current affairs; spaced-repetition revision; progress analytics; and community discussion and peer review. Some features use artificial intelligence, which has inherent limitations (see the section on AI features below).
You must be capable of entering into a legally binding contract under applicable law to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. One person, one account — accounts are personal to you and may not be shared, sold or transferred.
Neev helps you prepare; it does not guarantee any examination outcome. AI-generated scores, feedback, model answers, study chapters, current-affairs summaries and mentor responses are study aids, not official assessments, legal advice, or predictions of your actual UPPSC marks, rank, selection or result. The UPPSC and its official processes are wholly independent of Neev; we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the UPPSC or any government body. AI can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Always verify important facts — including any dates, notifications, eligibility and syllabus details — against the UPPSC's official sources before relying on them. Your results depend on many factors outside our control, and we make no promise, express or implied, of any specific outcome.
The Service offers a Free tier and paid "Pro" plans. Current features, limits and prices are shown on our Pricing page and in the app, and may change.
Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. When you buy a Pro plan you make a one-time payment for a fixed term (the plan's duration). Plans do not auto-renew and there is no recurring charge. Pro access runs until the end of the paid term and then your account automatically reverts to Free; to continue with Pro after that, you purchase again. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We do not receive or store your full card details — see the Privacy Policy.
Because a free trial lets you evaluate Pro before paying, Pro fees are generally non-refundable, subject to the specific exceptions and process described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
You agree not to:
AI features send your input (for example, your answer text or a mentor question, and — for handwritten submissions — your uploaded page images) to third-party AI providers to generate a response, as described in the Privacy Policy. AI output is generated automatically and may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it. Do not submit content you are not entitled to submit, and do not treat AI feedback as authoritative or official.
The Service relies on third parties to function, including AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI), our payment partner (Razorpay), and our hosting and database provider (Supabase). Your use of the Service involves data being processed by these providers as described in the Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party services' own acts or terms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that content (including AI output and any exam dates or notifications) is accurate, complete, or current, or that the Service will meet your requirements or result in any exam outcome.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Neev and its proprietor will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, opportunity, or examination outcome, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, abuse the Service, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including content, disclaimers, liability, and governing law) will survive. Any remaining paid term is handled under the Refund Policy.
We may modify the Service, these Terms, or our plans and prices. If we make material changes to these Terms we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Delhi will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service.
